These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Lumrec’s websites, desktop apps, browser extension and related services (the “Service”), provided by Sazae Technology (“Lumrec”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
01Your account
You need an account to record, upload or comment. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date, and you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
- Keep your sign-in methods secure. Sign-in codes are single-use and expire after 10 minutes.
- Tell us at security@lumrec.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Workspace admins can manage, suspend or remove member accounts in their workspace.
02Using the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms and your plan. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a core feature of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
03Your content
You keep ownership of the videos, screenshots, transcripts, comments and other material you upload (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, limited licence to host, store, process, transcode, transcribe and display Your Content only to run and improve the Service for you.
We do not use Your Content to train generative AI models. You can download or delete Your Content at any time; deleted items are permanently removed within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep them.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Record or share people without the notice or consent required by law in your location.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or contains malware.
- Share personal data, credentials or confidential information you are not allowed to share.
- Harass, threaten or exploit anyone, including minors.
- Probe, overload or reverse engineer the Service, or bypass usage limits.
- Resell the Service without our written agreement.
06Recording laws and consent
Recording screens, cameras, audio and calls is regulated differently around the world. You are solely responsible for getting any consent required before recording other people, and for blurring or removing sensitive information before sharing. Lumrec’s highlight and blur tools help with this but do not guarantee that data is fully hidden.
07Plans, billing and renewals
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, per creator seat. Prices exclude taxes unless shown otherwise.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Admin tools › Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing.
- If payment fails, we may downgrade the workspace to the Starter plan after 14 days. Existing content stays available.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.
08Free plan and trials
The Starter plan is free with the limits shown on the Pricing page. Free trials convert to a paid plan only if you add a payment method and do not cancel before the trial ends. We may limit or end free plans that stay inactive for 12 months, after giving notice by email.
09Lumrec’s intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and documentation, belongs to Lumrec and its licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.
10Privacy and security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. We protect Your Content with encryption in transit and at rest and restrict internal access. For business customers, our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these Terms.
11Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will notify you first and give you a chance to export Your Content.
12Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent allowed by law, Lumrec is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you use a free plan.
13Changes, law and contact
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise. Contact: Sazae Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam · legal@lumrec.com.
